Nelson Can- Apple Pie
This is the second musical venture for this trio. The first being Niels Pa Dase, an act culminating from a meager high school lie about a fake band that before long had a manager, record deal and gigs and they were forced to materialize this only talked about venture. Alas, like every great girl band, it broke up, but the girls have reunited and brought us Nelson Can. Signe, Selina and Tami douse us with the tambourine, poignant whistling and a R&B voice (yes you Signe). And the Winehouse-esque croons from Selina are delish.

Asbjorn- The Criminal
Pop music from Denmark, how did we overlook that. Because thats where all the substantial pop music has gone (pop, substantial? it can happen) A style thats hard to pinpoint using adjectives, Asbjon tells Danish magazine Gaffa, “Sonically, I’m torn between polished pop and organic roaring, and also that schizophrenia that lies in music”.
so we’ve got the pros: he’s got great bangs, an array of great sweaters, sweet dance moves, enchantingly eerie dance music, and he’s well spoken
the cons: Hes all the way in Denmark…for now?
At least we have ‘Sunken Ships’ to listen forward to, to be released April 10th.
